UPDATED Jan. 15: JRM reports that it needs to delay the collection of Christmas trees for another week due to staff shortages from Covid-19. Collection next week will be on a holiday schedule. It will take place Jan. 18-22.
This delay in tree collection will help ensure the regular collection of trash and recycling, which is a higher priority. If you have already placed your tree on the curb for collection, please pull it back off the curb, if you are able. Keeping trees off the curb prevents them blowing into the street and public ways.
Residents who would like to drop off their tree on Saturday, Jan. 15, made an appointment.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank residents for their continued patience and cooperation.
For additional information on preparing your tree for collection, please visit arlingtonma.gov/recycle.
